Rob Boyd

Rob has a background in ecology, with particular focus on aquatic systems. Following a BSc in Marine and Freshwater Biology, he completed an MSc (research) in the environmental physiology of crustaceans. Now undertaking a PhD, Rob is developing an IBM with utility in the assessment of northeast Atlantic mackerel (Scomber scombrus) stocks. The project is entitled: How are Atlantic mackerel (Scomber scombrus) impacted by food availability and temperature? An Individual-Based Modelling (IBM) approach.
